This Privacy Policy explains how Flash Round Chaos ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the app. Flash Round Chaos is a party game played locally among friends and family — it does not require an account, and does not collect or transmit the names of the players you add to a game.
Player names, custom word packs, game settings, and game history are entered directly on your device. This information is stored locally on your device (and, for word‑pack trial eligibility only, in your own private iCloud account — see section 1.3). We never receive, store, or have access to this information ourselves.
The App shows optional rewarded and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. If you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and an approximate, IP‑based location (country/region level) to personalize ads. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized to you.
| Data type | Device advertising identifier (IDFA), approximate location (coarse, IP‑based) |
|---|---|
| Linked to you | No — not linked to your identity by us |
| Used for tracking | Device ID: yes, only with ATT consent · Approximate location: no |
| Purpose | Third‑party advertising |
In‑app purchases (word packs, full‑game unlock) are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We can see which packs are unlocked on your device, but we never receive your payment details. Separately, to remember whether you've already used a one‑time free trial for a locked word pack, the App stores a small record (the pack's identifier only) in the private iCloud database associated with your own Apple ID. Apple, not us, hosts and controls this private database — we cannot access it directly or identify you from it.
The App uses the following third‑party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
We do not use any analytics SDK beyond what is described above, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
On iOS, the App will ask for your permission before using your advertising identifier for personalized ads, in compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
Player names, game history, and settings remain on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. The iCloud trial record described in section 1.3 remains in your private iCloud account until you delete the App or remove it via your iCloud settings.
Flash Round Chaos is a general‑audience party game intended to be played by groups that may include players of different ages under the supervision of the device owner. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App itself does not require any personal information to be entered beyond first names chosen by the players, which stay on the device.
Depending on where you live (e.g., under the GDPR or similar regional laws), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information related to you. Because almost all app data lives locally on your device or in your own private iCloud account, you can exercise most of these rights yourself by deleting the App or clearing its data in Settings. For anything else, contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or applicable law. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
